My First Awards

Ok so this is a little late but I just got the help I needed to post them. I'm thrilled that someone saw my little blog and thought it was award worthy. I decided to jump on the blog bandwagon to give my creative outlet a place to live and so I could see my own growth. I love that people are taking my journey with me and enjoy what I'm doing.
I'd love to thank Peggy at www.dailygracecreations.blogspot.com for my lovely awards.

More Lunch Bags

OK here are the last of the bags. Day camp is over so no more bags, and the boys eat school lunch so no bags then. I'm sure I'll find some reason to make more in the future lol.
I was being a little goofy and decided to surprise DH with his own bag, his response was "WOW! I feel 5 again!" and then laughed and thanked me. He also thanked me for not making it embarrassing lol. Must admit the thought DID cross my mind

Boring Bag lunch??? NO WAY!

Here's a quick way to Jazz up a sack lunch. So quick, so cute, SO EASY!!! All you need is a cricut, a cartridge and Cricut Markers. Easy Peasey.
My boy's started cubscout camp this week and had to have a sack lunch. Well I could have just wrote they're names on it but how boring would that have been. This was just as fast and they LOVE them.
My oldest son is a Bear Cub and my middle son is a Tiger Cub so their bags will have different variations of their animals, My youngest is in the day care center so he's not assigned an animal. He get's random ones. He's had a cat and a duck, Tomorrow he'll have a Horse and then prob. a cow or pig maybe goat. Not sure yet.

TUTU Cute!

This is my first Freezer T and Tutu Combo. I whipped this freezer T out in less than 20 min from Gypsy to gift bag. Thank goodness for my heat gun! I got the images from Hannah Montana cart and put them together cut and painted. There's 2 little boo boo's but for being so rushed. I bought the shirt on thursday and put it in a safe place the the wildboyz couldnt get to it...well it was such a safe place that I couldn't even remember where I put it and then I moved something sunday morning while we were getting ready to leave for the Birthday party and there it was so I threw it together. The perfectionist in me can point out all the little flaws but the realist in me say's It's way cute for how quick I did it. The thing that matters is the Birthday girl LOVED it and yelled Girls Rock and Boy's Drool!! LOL.

Celebrate Card

For the 1/2 birthday girls party tomorrow. I felt odd giving her a Happy Birthday card... So she's getting a Celebrate card. The wording is gypsy wandering phrase and then stickled. Everything else is PDDU and are embossed with fiskars plates. My 5 year old did all of the chalking and I decided to just let him do what he wanted, not bad I think. I Love the way the dragon turned out and then decided he needed a leash (edpd)since the theme is How to train a dragon and we all call her princess. Embellished with glitter pens and silver stickles (cant remember the real brand). The princess is put on pop dots to add depth and I made the castle doors open. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Ranch Layout

We used to go to this private horse ranch the boy's were pretty much raised there for 3 years. My youngest came "home" from the hospital to the ranch. I matted the pictures of my oldest on the green and then inked it with brown to give it more of a weathered look. The title was done with Pooh and Mickey font. The grass is from EDPD's and the wagon wheel's base was from Old west but I dont have that cart so I had to make it as close as I could using Accent Essentials for the circles and Plantin for the rectangles then inked. I wish I could say it only took one shot but I had to play with the welding a bit to get it right. But I now have a wagon wheel should I ever need one again lol.

Mr. Fluffy!!!!!!!!

This is my awesome middle son and Model, this is the tutu for my sisters boyfriends party tomorrow, I just have to do the shirt now.

This was white tulle that I got from freecycle and then dyed with crystal light and hot water. I didn't have any Kool-aid in the house so I tried crystal light and it worked very nicely. The yellow is the orange sunshine flavor and the hot pink is Cherry pomegranate. Just cut the strips and looped them over a piece of elastic, I'm going to run a stitch around the base by the knots later tonight.

Busy Busy Busy!

I've been keeping busy this week.... My sisters Boyfriends daughter is a New years eve baby and did not get a party this year, my sister had a fit about it and is throwing her a 4 1/2 birthday party. The theme is How to train a dragon and I got to make her banner for the party.
I have been designing on my gypsy for about 2 weeks without cutting anything so while I was doing the banner I was multi-tasking and getting paper for the other projects ready to cut. In one night did the birthday banner, 2 birthday cards and a simple lay out. It doesn't look like a lot when I write it but cutting and assembling the banner was a lot of work. Birthday party is Sunday and I still need to finish her birthday present.. a tutu and a freezer shirt. And I need to make her a dragon card for the party.
Oh and I've been working summer school, and doing art pieces with my kids. Our summer theme is "Our Summer Garden, watch us grow!" so we've made Carrot, watermelon and Corn art projects.
I've also managed to squeeze in some shopping. I love it when I get my Michael's ad and they have awesome coupons and great sale's because I can get DH in on my habit too. He even picked one of my big paper pack's.
I picked up some more cart's on ebay, I never thought I'd be excited to get anything Hannah Montana but I am! I'm really liking this cart! Then I cashed in some of my reward points and got Bag's tags and boxes YIPPEEE can't wait until it's delivered! And I was able to get a GREAT deal at cricutmachine.com's 29.95 cart sale, I was able to get the elusive teaser drive me nuts because I couldn't win it on ebay for less than $30 Create a Critter (squee!) and Cindy Loo plus free shipping over $50. I'm a very happy girl! And my little chunky Gypsy girl was starting to get a little thin so she'll be happy to be able to chomp down 3 new carts very very soon!
My Dh and DS are on a boy scout overnighter and they have both camera's so I'm not able to post my handiwork tonight but I will add it soon!
Have a wonderful weekend! Happy Crafting!!!
