I'm in Love!!!!

with my shoes!!!!!! My sister is a marathoner and is doing her first triathlon this spring with Team in Training and she had a fundraiser last night. What kind of fundraiser you ask? Pole Dancing!!!! We were pole dancing for a cure last night! OMG!!!! I so am not a pole dancer. And the only thing Sexy about me were my shoes, It was love at first sight with my shoes I wore. I loved them so much I didn't want to take them off, and the lady sold them to me right there! So not only did I fall in love with my shoes but I got to bring my new love home with me! I'm totally stoked about my shoes that I will never be able to wear ANYWHERE lol. But they're mine and I'm in LOVE!!! lol

Reindeer Cookies

This was another project that my boy's and I did during christmas break. These cookies are so cute and super easy to make. I have a very easy Butter Cookie recipe that I use. Roll out dough cut with Bell cookie cutters turn upside down put pretzels for antlers and use mini M&M's for the eye's and nose and bake. Easy peasy...and super cute!

Chalk Board's

I saw a chalkboard frame on a website and thought that is so cool...Hmmm wonder if you can make it magnetic..so Google is my best friend for this and I found the instructions. So to my hardware store I go to buy galvanized steel sheets and I measure and start cutting and my band on the saw broke. So to my neighbor who is my Hero, I go. He hand cuts it with shears (I seriously do NOT suggest doing it this way, unless your Hercules). I couldn't find chalkboard paint in the can anywhere here and I didn't feel like making it BUT...I did find it in the spray can and it's a bunch cheaper than the cans. So I come home and it suggests 2 coats and of course More is better right lol. So I did 4 coats. I attached the ribbon to hold the chalk, made the magnets out of prima flowers and sculpty clay. I made 3 different ones for the boy's teachers and put them in the boxes and wrapped them for their christmas presents. I got the frame's at the .99 store and one sheet of steel was $6 and I was able to get 3 from the small sheet I got.

Template Challenge

This template is so cute, but my layout is kinda plain. I can't wait to use the template again and jazz it up a bit. My disney album of the pictures I was able to recover is starting to come together.

New obsession...Pinterest!

I have a new obsession...Pinterest (I know just what I need another one) seriously if you want to get that crafty mojo flowing go there. So I've decided that I'm going to recreate some of the pin's I've collected. And it started with Christmas dinner.

This is a cinnamon roll pie crust...that I filled with caramel apple pie filling and topped with a brown sugar, cinnamon crumble. I ate it for breakfast the day after christmas lol. Kyle my craft-kick (sidekick for crafyness)helped me make the pie crust. So it wasn't quite as amazing looking as it could have been, but to me it was better because my guy and I did it.

Winter Fun

We took the boy's to Pier 39's Tree lighting presented by Disneyland of all places lol. We were so excited to see Mickey, Minnie and Goofy up here in S.F!!! It seriously has rained a handful of day's up here in Northern Ca this fall/winter and on the way to S.F it was POURING!!!! So we had to run into target to get hats and gloves and umbrellas. Well wouldn't you know it 45 min's and $40 later as were parking the rain stops and the skies clear. No complaints here lol. We had a blast and the boy's were so good. It ended up being a beautiful evening. This digital pack is from a challenge on MouseScrappers.com and is called polar opposites. It's got to be about the cutest winter kit ever!
